ABOUT ALNOOR FOUNDATION
WHAT WE DO
Al-Noor Foundation works on the ground with partners in Palestine (West Bank and Gaza) and Jordan. We have partnered with organizations to develop long-term development projects aimed at providing sustainable living conditions for poor/refugee communities. Al-Noor Foundation will work with partnered organizations providing resources to improve and build on education, improving child and women’s health and emergency relief.
HOW WE WORK
Al-Noor Foundation partners with Anera for execution of our initiates in Palestine and Jordan. Anera is one of the largest non-profit foundations working in Palestine. Founded in 1968, Anera has helped refugees and others hurt by conflict live with dignity and purpose.
ORPHAN STORIES
3 Year Old Ahmed
Ahmad Mohammed Zeyad Al Yazjie, a three-year-old Palestinian child lost his mom during his birth. After his mom had died, his aunt ( Diana Al. Yazhi) adopted him and raised him as one of her kids. Unfortunately, during the last aggression on the Gaza strip, his aunt died after being targeted and killed by Israeli missiles, as Diana`s house was targeted and destroyed completely.
20 people (male and female) were inside the house, Ahmed was among them. All were killed while Ahmed has survived. AlNoor Foundation is now the sole sponsor of Ahmed.
OUR LEADERSHIP
Al-Noor foundation was founded on the basis of helping orphans displaced in cause of conflict and war and those in need struggling with poverty. We were founded by the vision that foundation leaders Mourad and Karima Elayan had to provide a helping hand and reach across borders.
